History
1924
Clyde Blowers was established as a family firm producing boiler cleaning devices (sootblowers).
1948
Registration of private company Hans Bergemann Wärmetechnik. Roots go back to 1912.
1988
Bergemann acquired Blalock Power Products Inc. (company that serviced Diamond and Copes Vulcan sootblowers) in Atlanta, Georgia USA. Formed Bergemann USA
1989
Bergemann USA acquired Anthony-Ross Company (company that specialized in recovery boiler port cleaning equipment and air systems) in Beaverton, Oregon USA.
1996
Bergemann USA becomes Clyde Bergemann US after Clyde Blowers PLC Glasgow, Scotland acquired Bergemann-Group.
1997
Clyde Bergemann US acquired Copes Vulcan (USA). Copes Vulcan sootblowers were in 50% of the power plants in the US at the time, which was the basis for Clyde Bergemann entry into the US power market. Copes Vulcan roots go back to 1908.
2001
Founding of Clyde Bergemann Scandinavia
2003
Founding of Clyde Bergemann do Brasil.
China Purchasing Office (CPO) established.
2006
Clyde Bergemann US renamed to Clyde Bergemann Power Group Americas- includes all North and South America locations.
Founding of Clyde Bergemann Canada.
2010
Founding of Clyde Bergemann Colombia SAS / Bogota / Colombia.
Founding of Clyde Bergemann Indonesia PMA / Jarkarta / Indonesia.
2019
Clyde Industries formed after Clyde Bergemann Power Group carves out Pulp & Paper business and sells to Wynnchurch Capital. Companies included in the sale are Clyde Bergemann Power Group Americas, Clyde Bergemann Scandinavia, and Clyde Bergemann Indonesia.
2020
Clyde Industries acquires MidSouth Power and Equipment Company (company that serviced Copes Vulcan sootblowers) in Greensboro, NC. and Founding of Clyde Industries India Private Limited.
